“I think that people think of classic and they think of, like, a Nas record or a Jay-Z record or The Chronic.”

T.I. Speaks on Iggy Azalea’s Mindset
T.I. recently sat down with MTV to discuss his upcoming work with Iggy Azalea. If you haven’t heard, he is slated to be the executive producer of Iggy’s debut release, The New Classic. T.I. discussed how he linked up with Iggy , her excitement, and what she should expect from him and his team:
“I just recently got a call from a white girl from Australia, and she just expressed such extreme, enormous amounts of eagerness and wanting me to just spearhead and oversee her project. She crazy as a mother—-er and that fits right in over here. That’s just the kind of egos we need around us, so I’m looking forward to that. She kick sh–. She ain’t half as good as she gonna be when I get through with her though.”

T.I. Plans to Executive Produce Iggy Azalea’s Debut Album, “The New Classic”
In a recent interview with MTV, Iggy Azalea revealed that T.I. will be the executive producer for her debut album, The New Classic. Interestingly enough, she stated that T.I. actually called her and asked her if he could executively produce her album–of course, she gladly accepted.
They plan to link up in Atlanta next week to get started. Iggy’s debut album is slated to be released in June.

Iggy Azalea Signs with Interscope, Announces Plans for Debut Release
Australian rapper Iggy Azalea recently announced that she is signed to Interscope Records. Via Twitter, she also stated that she plans to release her debut album, The New Classic, in June.
