M.I.A. Previews Cover for Upcoming Book

M.I.A. took to Instagram to reveal the cover sleeve for her upcoming Rizzoli book entitled, M.I.A.  The book, which will be released on October 23rd, chronicles M.I.A.’s life through a series of collages, photos, and prints.

M.I.A. Reveals Details on Upcoming Album

During a Twitter Q&A yesterday with fans, M.I.A. discussed her upcoming album.  M.I.A. stated that her album is scheduled to be released in December along with a book, documentary film, and art exhibition.  She plans to include 5 to 15 songs with no collaborations.  She also described the album as a “f%$^ you” to industry critics, a sound like “Paul Simon on acid,” and taste “sweet and sour bitter and salt and HOT!”

M.I.A. – “Come Walk With Me” (Preview)

M.I.A. released a preview for her upcoming single, “Come Walk With Me,” via Twitter yesterday.  Her upcoming album, Matangi, is rumored to be released sometime this summer.  Check out the preview above.

M.I.A. Composes Theme Music for WikiLeaks Talk Show

M.I.A. composed the original theme music for Julian Assange’s new WikiLeaks talk show, The World Tomorrow, which is scheduled to air today online.   According to Assange, this talk show will feature “in-depth conversations with key political players, thinkers and revolutionaries from around the world.”
